The Tennessee Eagles R/C Club, located in Harriman, Tennessee, is a dedicated community of radio-controlled aviation enthusiasts. Our club offers a well-maintained flying field featuring a 600’ x 75’ smooth grass runway as well as a geotex runway, accommodating various aircraft types, including fixed-wing planes, helicopters, and jets. We prioritize safety and enjoyment, providing amenities such as a port-a-toilet and a designated spectator area.
As an Academy of Model Aeronautics (AMA) chartered club, we require AMA membership for all pilots, ensuring adherence to national safety standards. Our club fosters a welcoming environment for both seasoned pilots and newcomers, offering pilot instruction training and youth programs to promote the hobby among all age groups.
Throughout the year, we host various events, including our annual “Fun Fly” and “Warbirds Over Harriman,” attracting skilled pilots from across Tennessee to showcase their aircraft and flying skills. These events provide opportunities for community engagement and the chance to witness impressive aerobatic stunts and scale model aircraft in action.
Our club is committed to community involvement, regularly organizing events open to the public and supporting charitable causes. We believe in the importance of sharing our passion for RC aviation and encouraging others to join this rewarding hobby.
Whether you’re an experienced pilot or just starting, the Tennessee Eagles R/C Club offers a supportive and engaging environment to explore the world of radio-controlled flight.
