Tennessee Eagles RC Club – AMA Chapter 4276

Edit: Just to be clear, this is the one event we have every year that is limited to club members and their invited guests. We have several public events every year, if you are not a member we would love to see you at one of those other events.

The long standing tradition of our annual club fun fly/Swap meet/picnic has reached the milestone of two years.

This year it will be held on Saturday October 4th 2025.

Like every year in the past (last year) this will be a time for  club members, family and special guests to get together and fly, sell, buy and enjoy a  buffet style lunch, prepared by world famous chef, Buddy, of Buddy’s BBQ, that the club will provide. 

In order to know how many people will be attending so that we can ensure Buddy prepares enough food, please RSVP to either me or Mike Foley by September 30th and let us know how many will be in your party.

If you attended last year, you know that this was our best event of the year. We are looking to duplicate that or even exceed that this year

So, gather up all the items you would like to sell or swap, get together everything you want to fly, and plan to enjoy the day.

I hope to see all of our members there on Saturday October 4th.  The gates will be open about 8:30 am  and we’ll stay until the last plane is back on the ground. (Notice that I didn’t say until the last plane lands. It may get on the ground another way. That ugly “C” word)

PS, a few guys are thinking about camping overnight on Friday before the fun fly. If you have a Trailer, RV, Van, or just want to pitch a tent on the grass, lets do this. Note: This “dry camping”; no electricity, no water, and only a porta potty.
